A nominee for the East High Hall of Fame may come from two general areas. In both, the nominee should have led an illustrious life. (S)he may be an East High graduate who has excelled in some non-educational or educational aspect of their lives in which they directly or indirectly brought honor to East High School. Jake Garn is an example of this. (S)he may be a non-graduate of East High School who devoted a significant portion of his/her life to East and/or its students. Valois Zarr is an example of this. A nominee must be living, willing and able to attend his/her induction ceremony, if chosen. Please be aware that a selection committee will make the final decision as to a nominee's entry into the Hall of Fame. A nomination does not guarantee entry. If selected, two pictures, one historic and one recent, must be provided.
